About us

Matizol is a Polish company that combines over 120 years’ experience and deep manufacturing know-how about bitumen membranes, shingles and bitumen liquids with the latest technologies and innovative solutions and is focused on the most demanding professionals.

The core of our offer are comprehensive systems for waterproofing roofs and foundations, developed to meet the actual needs of roof contractors. Our products are manufactured in two production plants, in Gorlice and in Chełmża, and reach many European markets via the Selena Group sales channels.

In 2010, Matizol joined the international Selena Group, which was established in 1992 in Wrocław. The company specializes in the production of polyurethane foam, sealants, adhesives, and insulation systems for the construction industry. Due to the experience and technological facilities, Matizol brand can constantly expand its product portfolio and offer high-quality materials for roof waterproofing.

The Group consists of 35 companies operating in 17 countries. The production plants are located in Poland, Brazil, South Korea, China, Romania, Turkey, Spain and Kazakhstan. All production activities are coordinated by the Selena Labs research and development centre, which is supervising and monitoring the implementation of new innovative products. Our close cooperation with the centre and sharing know-how between individual brands belonging to the Groups help us create new solutions, tailored to the needs of our customers.
